The Jazz are in a bad way at the moment. They’re down 2-1 to the Luka Doncic-less Mavs, and they just got dealt a loss in their own building, surrendering the home-court advantage they gained by winning Game 1 on the road.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, defense has been an issue for Utah, particularly when Dallas has gone small to space the floor, creating wider driving lanes for the likes of not only Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie, but also the complementary players. Utah’s point-of-attack defense could best be described as non-existent, and it is once again putting a ton of pressure on Rudy Gobert to erase the entire floor by himself.
