With the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies took Ja Morant. Duh. It was the obvious pick. Everyone and their mother knew that Zion Williamson was going No. 1 and Morant was going No. 2. That was going to happen no matter how the lottery shook out.
